Was a regular guest for months at this Hotel. But Now I have stopped. I am giving the Hotel a 1 Star only because of the Front office Executives especially on Ms. "VALARMATHI" who does not have even basic manners or any knowledge on how to handle guests in the Reception. I tell you, Grand Estancia will get closed if you keep 5-6 rude executives like Valarmathy in your front office, no matter how good your inner rooms, kitchens or restaurants be - because these people are the face and first point of interaction for the guests. I am a physically handicapped person and was made to wait at the reception BY THIS LADY, for more than half an hour while she was laughing, chatting and gossiping with her fellow colleague - the other nepalese Lady was doing a good job and attending guests and sending them away time to time. This happened on my multiple bookings and thus, Now I have moved to CJ Pallazio / Radisson / Sivaraj Inn for my business stays. Besides, the Construction Work going on at the upper side of the hotel creates so much of disturbance that you wont be able to bear the intense drilling sound. Yes, It has offered me some good stays, even for my families - But Recent new executives like valarmathy, Hema have ruined the Hotel - Honestly, If you need a pleasant welcoming & good check in check out experience with a peaceful ambience for oyur stay - this is not the Hotel. SALEM HAS MANY GOOD HOTELS THAT HAS BETTER & NICE PEOPLE WHO WILL BE OF HELPING NATURE.

I have stayed here many times in the past. It appears as though there has been a change in management for the worse. Early check in at 11:30 was going to be charged 1500 INR. I was with my 103 year old mother and upon appeal, some manager waived the fee. Also, due to an error in the booking app the rooms were booked as single occupancy. Another 1500 INR was charged for double occupancy. Loud construction noises were heard throughout the day, no amount of appealing would make them change rooms to a quieter location. Definitely the last time I will be staying there considering other excellent choices in the same price range nearby
