I had a really pleasant experience at this Japanese restaurant. The ambience was warm and inviting, with a great atmosphere overall. There were plenty of table options available, which made it easy to choose a comfortable spot. The food was very tasty, and the service stood out as genuinely caring and friendly. The highlight, however, was the owner, who personally served us. Despite it being close to closing time and the staff understandably looking a bit tired, she made a real effort to welcome us with warmth and excellent hospitality. That level of service left a strong impression. I would definitely visit again next time I’m in Goa. I visited Sakana after more than a decade, and it felt like stepping right back into my childhood. I was around 10 when my parents used to bring me here all the time, and coming back at 23 was pure nostalgia. The tempura fried prawns completely stole my heart — easily the highlight of the meal. The stir-fried prawns were delicious too, but what really stood out was the noodle soup with tempura prawns. The clear broth was so comforting, and the rice noodles made it such a fun dish to eat. I genuinely couldn’t stop going back for more of those tempura prawns! The ambience and interiors are beautiful and thoughtfully done, with plenty of seating and a really welcoming vibe. The service was great and added to the overall experience. All in all, it was such a wholesome and enjoyable dinner.
