Sahu Nasta Centre is one of those legendary places where the food is genuinely good, the crowd is always massive, and the prices… well, let’s just say the prices rise faster than petrol rates during festival season. The shop’s biggest star is their Dahi Kachori, and yes, the hype is real. It tastes great, it hits perfectly, and it fulfils every expectation. But ever since the fame touched them, the menu started looking like it was printed by a luxury hotel. A full plate of Dahi Kachori at ₹40, Samosa at ₹35, and Poha at ₹30, suddenly, breakfast feels like an investment decision. At this point, I half expect them to give an EMI option with the samosa. Still, the shop doesn’t slow down. People line up like it’s the only place on Earth serving breakfast, and honestly, the taste makes it understandable. The crowd situation is also something else. You will always find at least five times more people in front of the shop than the shop can handle. The place is located right at the main chowk, so parking feels like a competitive sport. One moment you find a spot, and the next moment a biker appears out of nowhere and takes it. Half the time customers are eating, the other half they’re fighting for parking like it’s a limited-time offer. But again, the taste. That’s the only thing that keeps people coming back despite the rising prices and the daily Olympics of finding parking. The Dahi Kachori is genuinely good, the Poha is fresh, and the Samosa has its own fanbase. So the final word? Taste-wise: Excellent. Price-wise: Slightly dramatic. Crowd-wise: Always packed. Parking-wise: Good luck. Still, Sahu Nasta Centre remains one of those places you keep visiting because the flavours remind you why it became famous in the first place, even if the bill reminds you of inflation every single time.
