RAIPUR Diary! Our next food stop at the capital of Chattisgarh is the legendary old world time MANJU MAMTA at MG Road-Raipur! This legendary food outlet is famous for its snacks, tea, south Indian and other dishes and remains a fav in MOR RAIPUR since decades. A rather simple sitting place its always full of patrons throughout the day till late night for its food. We had Samosa topped with Chole and liked it. The chole bhature were fab with Ajwain in Bhature which was a rarity. We also ordered the paneer chilla which was excellent and the medium and quality of paneer were great as well. It went very well with the coconut chutney and sambhar. The yummy meal was washed by their signature and excellent chai which is reason enough for a re-visit!! For sweetdish we had the rabdi style ras-malai which was yummy! the place is also pocket-friendly. A landmark place where tastes speaks for itself!!

" Manju Mamata is a hidden gem! The food is delicious and the service is top-notch. We particularly loved their tea and coffee - superb! One suggestion for improvement would be to work on the ambiance - it's a bit plain at the moment. Overall, a great place to visit for tasty food and friendly service. Looking forward to coming back! The food at Manju Mamta Restaurant is always delicious, and the overall taste of every dish was quite satisfying. However, I noticed that the quantity of chole served with chole bhature has been reduced, and they now charge ₹100 for extra chole, which felt a bit unreasonable. Since it was a Monday, the place was quite crowded, so we had to wait a little before getting a table. The service was good, and the staff were polite and attentive. One thing I really liked is that a single cup of tea is served in a generous quantity, enough for three people to share comfortably. The price of chole bhature has also increased, but thankfully, the taste remains the same — flavorful and satisfying.
