Some of the greatest food I have ever had, let alone in hyderabad. If you are looking for clean yet vibrant and absolutely scrumptious morsels of locally grown farm to table organic food, look no further. Food here is not aggressively spicey, but instead perfectly balanced and not shy to lean upon it's freshness and natural clean flavours. We ordered some kombucha, a mediteranean bowl, a green pizza, basque cheesecake and an apple crumble. The Mulberry kombucha was refreshing and not oversweet, with the classic sharp ciderry Kombucha hit to cut through the food. Food is offered with a complementary portion of assorted pickles including ginger and carrot which were also excellent and very fresh tasting. Waiters are also diligent at replacing the basil infused water which also tasted incredibly fresh (common theme in this place). The Meddditeranean bowl was scrumptious. Millets, hummus, falafel, feta, chickpeas with chicken may not seem extraordinary in of itself at first, but they all were prepared meticulously: perfect and non dry crispy falafel with a luscious creamy hummous, with the choleyesque chickpeas was such a mouthful of spectacle. Millets were such an interesting and unique alternative to rice in this application. The green pizza clearly has alot of effort put into it, being wood fire oven made and also with their in house pesto and buffalo mozzerella. This was good. The basque cheesecake was ridiculous. They seemed to have made their own in house cream cheese and had it so airy and light, yet also tangy yet every bit indulgent and creamy. Complemented with the "burn" on the top and the base, this was truly the best cheesecake I have had (and the portion was great too). The apple crumble was good, with their in house made ice cream which is miles ahead of much you can get at a freezer aisle. All in all, hyderabad has alot of rich and spice laden curried dishes and biryanis which are great. Though sometimes you want something different. Something clean and beaming with full bodied freshness, yet scrumptious and meticulously composed. We have had a refreshing experience dining at the Sage Farm Cafe and also speaking with Chef Kaushic. I highly recommend this place (even if the entrance is geographically a bit dodgey).
