We visited The Shire Terrace Bistro in Kalimpong at night, and it was an absolute delight. The place has a beautiful terrace view, even after dark—it felt cozy, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxed evening. What really made the experience special was the homely atmosphere and the kind-hearted staff. A special shoutout to Jerpandi Lepcha didi, who was not only making our drinks but also helped serve our table from time to time. She was incredibly sweet and added such warmth to our evening. Diksha Bhujel didi, our main server, was very soft-spoken and kind, making sure everything at our table was taken care of with a gentle smile. At the counter, Sudesh Mukhia helped us with the billing—again, a very polite and soft-spoken person who left a good impression. The food here is very reasonably priced and gives off a comforting, homemade vibe. You don’t often find places that feel this genuine and grounded. Absolutely loved the place.
