Salt mango tree is one great place in Indiranagar Bangalore for authentic and delicious kerala cuisine. Ambience is homely, menu is extensive, service is superb. We were attended by an ever smiling Abdullah and that was a great start to our subsequent lunch. We were two senior citizen couples, basically from North India but staying over the decades in Bangalore, have acquired good taste for authentic south indian cuisine, coastal cuisine specifically. Our order included wheat lachha parota with Prawns ghee roast, meen Pollichathu and Etthanu meen, both with king fish. This was sufficient food for four adults. Finger licking delicious served on time and with infections smile by Abdullah. He also got the Parotas customized with sprinkle of finely chopped garlic. Overall a very satisfying experience and all four of us were thoroughly delighted. We sure will revisit. Thanks SMT and Abdullah. The only flip side is they don't have car parking nor vallet service. Today we went to Salt Mango Tree Hotel. We ordered the Kerala mini meals, but the food was terrible. None of us could eat it — not even a little. For the amount we paid, they could’ve at least provided decent food. They charged ₹1700 for 2 people, but it wasn’t even edible. From now on, we will never go to that restaurant again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
