Absolutely the worst experience at Roots.We had booked a table for two and reached at 5:30 pm, yet they placed us at a corner table meant for six people. I politely requested a change right at the beginning, but they flatly refused, claiming all tables were “reserved.” We still adjusted and settled at that awkward corner table.But what happened next was completely unacceptable.At 8:00 pm, the staff came and asked us to shift to another table. This time I declined. Shockingly, under the guise of a “request,” they practically forced us to vacate the table just because they had “more important customers” waiting.Let me be very clear — we were continuously ordering, not sitting idle over a single coffee. Our bill was around ₹10,000, yet this is the treatment they chose to give us. I have no idea what kind of etiquette or hospitality standards they follow, but they completely ruined an evening that we had planned for weeks.Deeply disappointed, disheartened, and genuinely shocked at their behaviour. Roots needs to seriously rethink how they treat their customers.
