I recently tried a masala dosa from Ramesh South Indian Dosa Wale in Meerut, which my family brought home, and it turned out to be one of the best dosas I have ever tasted. The dosa was perfectly crisp, golden brown, and had that authentic South Indian flavor which is quite rare to find in Meerut. The outer layer had a satisfying crunch, while the inside was soft and light, making every bite delightful. The highlight, apart from the dosa itself, was the sambhar. It was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of tanginess and spices, which complemented the dosa beautifully. Even the aroma of the sambhar added to the overall experience, and dipping each bite into it felt heavenly. The coconut chutney was fresh and mildly sweet, adding a refreshing contrast to the spicy sambhar. What impressed me the most was that even though it was a takeaway, the dosa remained crispy and didn’t feel soggy or bland, which often happens with packed South Indian food. For a simple single dosa, the taste and quality were outstanding, making it feel like a complete, satisfying meal on its own. I would definitely recommend trying it.
