We sampled the Chonak Rava Fry, which was crisp and flavorful, though the portion size could definitely be improved. The Mussels Rava Fry and Prawns Rava Fry were equally satisfying, packed with authentic taste and cooked just right. The Fish Thali stood out as a complete and hearty meal, making it a solid choice for anyone craving a traditional seafood spread. The location is a definite bonus—set by the sea, the bar offers a relaxing view that pairs well with their wide variety of drinks. There's plenty of parking, but do keep an eye out for falling coconuts! The main drawback, unfortunately, is the service. Waiting 30 minutes to an hour for your order is the norm, and with limited seating that fills up quickly, it's best to arrive early. If you're in no rush and simply want to enjoy good seafood with a view, Raj Bar delivers—just don’t expect speedy service. Overall, Delicious seafood and scenic vibes, slowed down by long wait times. TL;DR: Unpretentious and delicious - Come here for the food, not the frills. You won’t be disappointed. An absolute bang for the buck. Food : This no-frills spot is all about the food and they deliver, especially if you’re craving fresh, well-cooked seafood. The rawa-fried prawns and kingfish were exceptional, easily some of the best I’ve had. The Goan thali features staples like xit (rice), hooman (fish curry), khooti sol kadi, bhaaji, teesryo (clams), and rawa-fried fish of the day. Atmosphere : There’s a basic sea view (no direct beach access), and with just about 10 tables, it can get busy during peak hours. Service : Service is a bit slow, but understandably so ... the food is freshly prepared to order, and it’s well worth the wait!
