WORST PLACE ON MALL. It may have been famous place in the past, but now you can't even expect a good simple daal. The 'nalini SPECIAL' thali i order was full of stale food, even the sweet-dish and chapatis were stale. The waiters and receptionist ignored us, didn't even offer to replace the food and moreover charged full for the stale food. Ruined the whole experience. I would highly recommend Amaaya restaurant near nalini (not a paid comment, genuinely frustrated & angry after having the lunch and seeing the poor behaviour of the staff.) Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Nalini restaurant is situated on the mall road Shimla near the tourism lift. The restaurant is nicely decorated The staff here is well behaved polite & professional. This is a pure veg restaurant as compared to other restaurants The prices are a bit on a higher side but the quality is very good. What I liked here is giant samosa and gulab jamun are the best. Outside the restaurant there is a counter where one can buy quality sweets Overall, my experience was the best. wish them all the best Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

It's a normal resturant. Economical and basic. Overall atmosphere is average. However, the food and service was good. We had masala dosa, fried rice and manchurian. For the atmosphere, you may find the price a bit on the higher side. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
