The Lord's Café, once a famous landmark on the Mall, is nowadays overshadowed by several flashy eateries and cafés nearby. However, if you're looking for value-for-money food in a prime location, this café ticks all the boxes. It was lunch time, so I ordered rajmah and roti. Unfortunately, they'd run out of rajmah and suggested yellow dal instead. While waiting for my order, I'd Mincy's excellent guava juice bottle and later litchi. The juices, though sugared, were delicious. When the food arrived, in paper plates, the dal looked yumm. Indeed it was. This is a café I'll be patronizing again and again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking options: Parking is unavailable Parking: The café is located on a pedestrian-only promenade. Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly place, like most places in Shimla. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible, as located at street level.
