I recently visited Pushkala Restaurant in Tumkur, and the experience was delightful. The moment you step in, you're welcomed by a traditional and homely ambience, enhanced by the vegetable-themed decor and the authentic practice of serving food on banana leaves. Although the menu was limited at the time of our visit with items like idli, a few varieties of dosa (note: no masala dosa), and rice bath , the Ghee Podi Dosa stood out with its rich flavor and perfect texture. The staff and owners were incredibly polite and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. A small suggestion for improvement would be to expand the breakfast options available on the menu. Overall, it’s a great spot for a traditional breakfast in Tumkur, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for authentic South Indian flavors served with warmth.
