I recently visited the Pune Baking Company at JW Marriott Pune for a high tea experience, and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was incredibly warm and thoughtful, and they curated a special High Tea Charlie setup just for me — beautifully presented across two savory stands and one sweet stand. Each stand looked elegant and inviting, perfect for an intimate setup for two. The savory stands featured a lovely mix of flavors — from the mini Garden Vada Pav to crisp onion-pakora style fritters, and a delicious Paneer Tikka Kathi Roll filled with cottage cheese, peppers, onions, and mint chutney. What made it even more special was knowing that many of the herbs, dressings, and ingredients were freshly sourced from JW Marriott’s own garden — everything tasted vibrant, fresh, and beautifully balanced. The sweet stand was a treat for the eyes and the palate, with a selection of mini pastries, bite-sized chocolates, and delicate sweet treats — the perfect finishing touch to a relaxed afternoon. The ambience of the Pune Baking Company truly adds to the charm — it’s calm, cozy, and filled with soft natural light. One of my favorite parts was the library corner, where you can pick up a book, enjoy a cup of coffee, and simply unwind. It’s such a thoughtfully designed space that makes you want to linger a little longer. I didn’t try the ice creams this time, but their gelato selection looked very tempting — that’s definitely on my list for my next visit. Overall, it was a beautifully curated high tea experience that perfectly reflected JW Marriott Pune’s warmth, attention to detail, and signature hospitality.
