I tried the cheese burst paratha and it was absolutely delicious! Packed with gooey, melted cheese in every bite, the paratha had a perfectly crispy outer layer that added the right amount of crunch. The flavors were rich and indulgent — definitely a treat for cheese lovers. The service was impressively quick, and the staff was courteous. It's the kind of place that leaves you craving more, and I’ll definitely be returning. If you ever find yourself in Chandni Chowk, this spot is a must-visit! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Been visiting here since childhood but yesterday's visit was extremely horrible. Yes you fry the paranthas but you dont burn them. A neembu parantha had a flavour and you could taste shavings of the lemon but now they only add a powder. The vegetables had a flavour but now it's just an ordinary aloo matar / pumpki sabzi... Lastly the service was such that they are doing you a favour by serving you. Never visiting this place again. The old time charm is finished with the new generations. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I recently visited Pt. Gaya Prasad Shiv Charan in Paranthe Wali Gali, Chandni Chowk, with high hopes—given the fame and legacy of this area. But honestly, the experience was underwhelming. Being a North Indian, paranthas are part of my everyday life, and I know what a good parantha tastes like—flaky, fresh, flavorful, and comforting. Unfortunately, what I was served here was far from that. The paranthas were overly oily, lacked depth in flavor, and didn’t have the texture or stuffing balance one would expect. It almost felt like the definition of a traditional parantha was completely reinterpreted—and not in a good way. While I respect the historical value of the place, and the fact that it draws so many tourists, it seems like the quality has taken a backseat to reputation. The menu is wide, and the place is busy, but when the food itself disappoints, the charm quickly fades. For anyone who truly appreciates authentic North Indian food, I’d say this is not the place to satisfy your parantha cravings. Delhi has much better options that stay true to taste and tradition.
