After enjoying Connaught Place, visit this cafe which is not far away. The menu of Madras Coffee House is recommended to Chinese and Indian cuisine lovers. The chef at this place cooks tasty masala dosa, idli and sambar. It's time to degustate good cold coffee, tea or vietnamese coffee.

The great location of this spot makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. The competent staff reflects the style and character of this cafe. Fast service is something that guests note in their reviews. Prices are found low here. You will certainly like the nice ambiance and cute decor. But Madras Coffee House has been rated below average by Google.

One of the oldest coffee shops of Delhi. Had dinner. Food taste was good. Enjoy the history of the coffee shop - story , pics on wall. Must visit once. One thing I couldn't like was that the cafe is not air conditioned. Cooler installed. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Visited the restaurant recently and was quite disappointed with the overall experience. Firstly, there was no air conditioning available, which made it very uncomfortable to sit and enjoy the meal, especially in the summer heat. Secondly, the staff seemed more interested in getting tips than providing good service. Attentiveness and hospitality were clearly lacking. It felt like service was driven more by expectations of a tip rather than genuine customer care. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

On a scorching afternoon, drained and in search of revival, I found solace in a humble cup of coffee. Madras Coffee House welcomed me like a shaded tree in the heat, offering more than just a drink—it offered warmth in every sense. It was my first encounter with South Indian filter coffee, and I was unaware of the custom of pouring it into the small dabarah accompanying the steel tumbler. Had it not been for Mr. K.C., I would have missed the essence of the tradition. With the gentle care of a guardian, he added sugar, stirred it with grace, and poured it out for me—like an affectionate uncle tending to family. His hospitality was not performative but deeply human. As if sensing my unspoken fatigue and long wait for a train, he told me I could sit for as long as I liked. Madras Coffee House offered more than food and coffee; it served kindness, comfort, and a sense of belonging. Highly recommended—not just for its flavors, but for the heart behind them.
