Very disappointing experience. My friends and I visited Pop Tate’s The Walk on the day of Holi. As expected on Holi, we had some colour on our faces and clothes from the celebrations. When we arrived, one of the manager told us we could not enter unless we “cleaned up.” We politely agreed to wash our faces, but he insisted that we needed to be completely clean, strongly implying that we should go and take a full bath before coming in. This felt extremely unreasonable and frankly quite rude. His justification was that “there are rules” and if he allowed one person in, he would have to allow others too. What made the situation even more confusing was that we clearly saw two girls inside the restaurant who were also covered in colour. Because of this treatment, we decided not to dine there and instead went to another Pop Tate’s Pokhran Road. Interestingly, we were welcomed there without any issue and no one asked us to “get cleaned” before entering. This was quite eye-opening. We have been regular customers of this restaurant for many years, but after this experience we will not be returning to this particular outlet again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
