Emergeny visit only, if you find anyother then dont go. Dosa taste like half lemon in one dosa (mean its expired falour), parata not much cooked full of whitey and not blend. Gravey its just in name amd nothing taste. Run by keralite boys (not proper uniformed) they came like unbath and start serving. Not recommend for kids or elders. Price is high compare to taste. I recently visited Plates Restaurant in Ooty with high hopes for a delightful dining experience, but unfortunately, my visit left me thoroughly disappointed. From the moment I stepped in, it was evident that this establishment fell far short of its promises. First and foremost, the quality of the food was nothing short of pathetic. The dishes lacked the freshness and flavor that one would expect from a restaurant in a popular tourist destination like Ooty. The presentation was lackluster, and the taste was far from satisfying. It was evident that little effort had been put into maintaining culinary standards. The ambiance of the restaurant was equally disappointing. The decor felt outdated and tired, and the overall atmosphere was far from inviting. The lighting was dim and unappealing, contributing to a lackluster dining experience. It's unfortunate that the restaurant's setting did not align with the picturesque beauty of Ooty itself. Furthermore, the staff's behavior only added to the disappointment. Additionally, the management's attitude was nothing short of rude. Any attempt to address our concerns was met with indifference and disrespect.
