Visited Peshwai Dining Hall today for an authentic Maharashtrian feast served on a traditional banana leaf! Every single dish was absolutely delicious from the starters to all three veggie curries (which were surprisingly outstanding for a thali setup!). We have been fans of Badamikar Caterers since tasting their food at a wedding, and this first visit to their dining hall did not disappoint. The owner personally checked in at each table.. such a lovely touch! We went early around 12 pm and got a table without a wait. Highly recommended for anyone who loves soulful, traditional Maharashtrian food! I heard a lot of reviews hence wanted to make a visit. While they serve on Banana leaf but the leaf is not washed, we had to request them to change the banana leaf as it had mud on the leaf and food is served directly on the leaf. My 1st impression went bad after seeing basic hygiene issues as I had taken my family. I had high expectations from this place but food is average, service is average hence for me it was a one time visit. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian

Thanks for your feedback. It helps us to improve. Generally the food is directly served on banana leaf. However we serve curries in bowls and dry items on leaf. There is an option of steel plate if customers request for it. We ensure to wipe the leaves properly. Sorry if you got a leaf with mud
