The paratha was cooked in bad oil, it was stinking, so much so that one can guess the thing is not edible. The kebabs were even bad, very low quality and again old stinky and inedible. The biggest frauds in addition to these places are the food vloggers which promote them. They deserve this kind of food three times a day. Not normal people who order and give money for it. Surely not ordering from here again, you too don't

I recently visited this half a century old Sahu Biryani in Hazratganj, located in the charming lane adjacent to Sahu Cinema, and it brought back a wave of nostalgia! Back in the day, we would watch movies at Sahu Cinema and always get their delicious biryani packed to enjoy before the show. It was a ritual for many, and I’m thrilled to see that they’ve not only maintained their signature flavor but have elevated it even further! Their Mutton Biryani remains my all-time favorite—each piece is tender, juicy, and perfectly spiced. The rice is aromatic, and the meticulous cooking is evident with every bite. I highly recommend pairing the biryani with their shami kebabs for a truly memorable meal. This combination has been my personal favorite for years, and it never disappoints. If you’re looking for something more, their Chicken Masala and Mutton Kaleji Fry with a hot, fresh paratha are absolute must-tries. The flavors are rich, authentic, and speak of decades of perfected culinary expertise. Despite its incredible taste and quality, I believe Sahu Biryani is still underrated, and it can easily rival some of the biggest names in Lucknow’s biryani scene. This hidden gem deserves far more recognition. A five-star experience from me! If you haven’t tried it yet, make sure to visit Sahu Biryani—it’s a treat that you’ll keep coming back for!
