The quality at Patisserie Victoria has really dropped. The service and waiters are abysmal - they are like silent, expressionless mannequins. We ordered a blue berry cheese cake to start, which was average nothing memorable. We asked the waiter to help with our order. He remained completely silent and upon coaxing a response he said he had no idea. We asked him which chicken starter was a good one and he said two words- Bang Bang which was probably a guess. We asked for someone who knew and the other guy also knew nothing except that it was from a satellite kitchen. So we ended up ordering Korean hot pot veg (hard cooked rice with barely any veg and served lukewarm and NOTHING LIKE A HOTPOT) and Bang Bang chicken (also lukewarm and garnished with some yellowing and faded greens). Both were horrible, with sticky glutinous sauces and both utterly sweet. If the food was bad, the service was abysmal. We had to ask for a fork, for plates, and had to finally get up and go and nudge the waiter, who were standing around, to please give them, as the food was going from lukewarm to cold. So we ordered no more, and ate what we could and left. At the counter we gave our feedback and the waiters who were also manning the reception and cash, still remained still, silent, expressionless. (Throughout we repeated everything in both English and Hindi to get a response but did not even manage to get an expression from them... quite eerie actually!)The atmosphere and music of the Patisserie were the saving grace, though there was only one other couple there. I am sorry that this nice little cafe has come to this. Good bye Patisserie Victoria! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
