Happy to share the experience in detail. Service : Upon entering the restaurant area with family, forget about anyone greeting you, I had yo ask someone where can I sit. After being offered a table. Waited for 15 mins for someone to attend us, then was forced to turn around and call their staff. Placed order for a starter, but then within 2 mins family wanted to change it. But no was around to listen to us. After 5 mins the manager arrived and courteously tried to help us, but informed it cannot be changed. We accepted as it was our mistake. We ordered another starter even before we finished the first one. Same situation no one was taking care, had to call out the manager. The food was served after waiting for more than 30 mins. And no one showed up with any courtesy to inform the delay. They lacked professionalism in etiquette on how plates are placed. When food is over how the plates should be removed. The waiter who brought card swiping machine was also struggling to operate it. Overall extremely poor service and lack of professionalism. FOOD : The Veg platter - was served with 8 pieces of potato, and other options too less. Sheikh kabab also wasn't good. Overall wasn't happy neither with portion nor taste. Paneer bharwan - in the name of Bharani just made a slit in paneer cubes and put a finely grated green capsicum raw pieces was smeared, whereas the waiter told us it will be stuffed with cooked exotic vegetables. All these served with red yellow tandoori masala coated and slighted cooked in tandoor. I was surprised they call it bharwan paneer, makes no sense. After this experience we didn't think twice to try for any main course. CHARGES : They put a Himalayan water bottle on your table and charge Rs 110. 5% Service charge is added in bill. 18% GST is added instead of 5% due to category of the hotel being premium residency. AMBIENCE: Interior well done, comfortable seating. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹600–800 Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

Palates at Satkar Residency is one of the best restaurants in Thane with high quality food, excellent ambience and fairly reasonable prices.We ordered home delivery today. Bhuna Kukda was absolutely succulent. The Karwar Prawn Biryani had huge tiger prawns, but the overall taste was okay. Their mutton biryani, that we've had earlier is excellent - the softest mutton in town.Looking forward to more visits to this restaurant (rather than home delivery).
