Chinese and Indian cuisines are good at this restaurant. Serving good pasta and nicely cooked pizza is the unique characteristic of Palate Cafe. After a long working week, you can taste great coffee.
The success of this place wouldn't be possible without the competent staff. Fine service is something clients agree upon here. The homey atmosphere gladdens visitors and attracts more guests. 4.9 is what this spot got from the Google rating system.

Palate Cafe This café feels very different from the usual overhyped and overpriced cafés in Udaipur. The entire menu is vegetarian, so you can visit without any worry. The food is truly delicious — the menu may be short, but every dish is flavorful because each one is personally prepared by the owner, Chef Nikhil Arora. He’s not only a professional chef but also happy to share detailed knowledge about the dishes (if you ask him). I’ve tried many of their dishes and I’m now a regular visitor. Their pricing is unbelievable — every item is budget-friendly. Take their pizzas, for example: while big brands usually charge ₹100–200 for a 7-inch pizza, Palate Cafe serves 9-inch pizzas loaded with taste, veggies, and love. I tried two: Cheese Burst Pizza with Veggies – absolutely outstanding! The taste was unique, far better than Domino’s, Rominus, or Martino’z. The base, veggies, and sauces were a fusion with a flavor I haven’t experienced elsewhere. Farmhouse Pizza – again, packed with veggies and made in a way that big brands simply can’t match. At this price point, I’ve never had such amazing food — it truly feels like a hidden gem. Their mocktails are refreshing, and the cold coffee is on another level compared to anything else in this price range. I’ve never been a fan of sandwiches, but trying theirs completely changed my perspective — I can actually enjoy sandwiches here! Moving on to pastas, I tried the Alfredo (white sauce) and Arrabiata. Both were exceptional — flavors you’ll rarely find even in high-end cafés. That’s the difference when a true chef is behind the food. And then comes their masterpiece: Rose Momo. Unlike the usual ingredients used by local stalls or big outlets, these are made with carefully selected components. Even without the sauces, they’re so healthy and flavorful. They’re often sold out, but whenever you get them, you’ll notice the twist: they don’t just carry the name “Rose Momo,” they actually look like roses! I’ve recommended this place to many people already, because in this price range, you simply won’t find such tasty and authentic food. Nothing here feels “local-style” — it’s proper café-quality, made the way it should be. Do visit! And here’s something exciting: soon they’ll be introducing Napoli Pizzas. Trust me, the prices will surprise you — but I won’t spoil it now (as of Aug 24, 2025). When they add it to the menu, you’ll see for yourself!
