Come for a meal right after seeing St George's Cathedral. This restaurant is known for providing Chinese cuisine. Taste good Dim sum, chicken sushi and spicy chicken at PAPAYA when you happen to be near it. Try tasty cheesecakes and good liquid cakes.

Select between indoor and outdoor seating. Many people point out that the staff is competent at this place. Terrific service is something guests like here. You will appreciate fair prices. It's usually a good idea to try something new, enjoying the pretty ambiance. The overall score of this spot on Google is 4.2.

Papaya – Vibrant Ambience, Inconsistent Plates A rainy evening set the perfect mood for a visit to Papaya, and the ambience didn’t disappoint – warm, vibrant, and inviting. The avocado tacos were a fresh and fun surprise with well-balanced flavours, though the portion felt a bit too modest. The lotus stem dish stood out – light, crunchy, and delicious. The veg dimsum, however, fell flat – dry on the inside and lacking flavour. The Pad Thai and chicken starter had good flavours but were noticeably greasy. Sticky rice with tofu was underwhelming: the rice held up well, but the tofu lacked punch, prompting me to pair it with the condiments on the table. The low point was the chilli lamb starter, which tasted overwhelmingly like offal – a rare dish I couldn’t bring myself to finish. Thankfully, the meal ended on a high note with the chocolate ice cream ball on fire – nutty, smooth, and indulgent. The cocktails were a mixed bag. The ambience is excellent and the menu is creative, but the execution is inconsistent. With a few improvements in flavour and balance, Papaya could become a true standout.
