Frankies serve as a quick and filling bite when hunger calls in roaring. What started as a simple outlet for such rolls now dishes out meal bowls & trays, combos, starters, a limited choice of 'off menu' beverages and sadly though, no desserts. Despite the presence of more dine options around its neighbourhood, The Kati Roll Shop at Gopalapuram Chennai has jostled for its space and done reasonably well at it .Boasting clean, bright interiors with limited seating, self service mode, the pricing is apt and the portions, generous. The bowl meal was sumptuous and the fries were hot and crispy. The rolls were well filled and tasted good but lacked something which am unable to put a finger on. It's probably the lack of that tad bit of tanginess which I had come to expect of my kati rolls. And, that's strictly personal!
