What can I say about Over Coffee? This place is a gem, a few metres from the St. Mark’s Cathedral. So if you’re an early-riser worshipping in the church, and would love a good, hearty breakfast, take a quick walk down to Over Coffee and have yourself a delicious breakfast of various kinds of eggs, meat and the all-too-good French toast (but beware, it is way too tempting and has the potential to turn you into a glutton, so bear in mind not to indulge in it too much—exercise the self-control which you’ve hopefully learnt from your Bible. I try to keep reminding myself of it as well). The staff are just delightful, and they are kind, courteous and help you pick dishes as well. In our numerous trips to this place, we’ve ordered the French toast, Vietnamese coffee and their beautiful burgers one too many times (to the point where it is rather embarrassing, but the food is too good and it just feels wrong not to order these). On the days we make it early during the breakfast hours, we make it a point to order their delicious eggs. If you’re in and around this place, do stop by. It’s worth it. We randomly stumbled on this place, and now the staff know us by our faces Maybe it could be your home away from home too? Give it a shot (By the way, I had their burger this afternoon for lunch, and it’s 18:43 now and I keep thinking about the delicious buns, the juicy meat, and the flavours just bursting in every bite.
