On 18th evening after work at around 7:30 pm my two friends and my husband decided to meet up at Hoppipola church street. My two friends reached Hoppipola before us, on reaching the entrance a man in black suit stopped us. He insisted that I call my friends out to the entrance to verify if we were together and if she had written her name and number in the book at the entrance or god knows what could be his real intentions. I asked him if there were any cover charges he said no and then he said he wanted to know if my friend wrote her phone number prior when she entered Hoppipola which was so strange as no where and no one ever stops you from entering a place to cross verify a phone number and ask your guest to come down to the entrance. Anyways when my friend steps down she said no one asked her to enter any details when she entered Hoppipola, he was shocked and looked stupid for stopping us without a valid reason, and when my husband questioned him he started abusing him and said you can't enter and told my friend and me to go in. I was so upset and told my friends lets leave this place and go somewhere else as there was a drunk man next to us trying to resolve the situation and was trying to touch me. So my friends payed the bill and left the place without seeing the manager and we went to Drinks which is a much better place, outstanding service and very good music made my evening.
You guys need to have the correct staff at the entrance to not miss behave with your guest, all he had to do is apologize for the inconvenience but all that attitude will not take the club anywhere in the future if there are bitter experiences like this.
