Ouvra Telugu Kitchen offers a unique experience for those looking to explore traditional Telugu flavors with a modern twist. During our visit, we started with the Artaaku Chepa, a dish where fish is wrapped and cooked in banana leaf. The taste was impressive, with the subtle flavors of the banana leaf enhancing the fish. However, we were quite disappointed by the quantity. Given the price, we expected a more generous portion, which left us feeling a bit shortchanged. For the main course, we opted for the Ulavacharu Chicken Pulao. This dish was a highlight of the meal. The Ulavacharu flavor was perfectly balanced and did not overpower the biryani, which is a common issue in many Hyderabad restaurants. The combination was delightful, making it one of the best Ulavacharu Kodi Pulaos we've had. To finish off our meal, we decided to try their signature dessert, the Birds Nest. This unique offering, served with Rasmalai balls, was a first for us. The dessert was absolutely delicious and left a lasting impression. The ambience of the restaurant was pleasant and added to the overall experience. However, a recurring issue we noticed was the pricing. The high prices did not seem to match the quantity of the food, both in the starters and the pulao. While the flavors were commendable, the value for money aspect could definitely be improved.
