I have had a good experience here in the past, so we decided to go for a family dinner. We pre-booked and pre-ordered an hour in advance via phone call. We arrived at 8:15 and received our starters. While 80% of the dishes were good, there were one or two disappointing options, such as the Peri Peri wings and chicken lollipop, which tasted like fried chicken dipped in red dye. The restaurant was understaffed, and we had to wait until 10 PM for the main course. We were still sitting with empty plates and ultimately left without having any main dishes. Additionally, they insisted on charging us a ₹1,000 service fee for a level of service that was far from satisfactory. The bad food we returned was also not removed from the bill. At that point, we were too frustrated to argue about it, so we left, making it clear that we would never return.

It has always been a pleasure to visit Opal Inn. Good steak and good Indo Chinese cuisine. The same manager I think has been there since ever, and will always treat you like a friend.
