I recently dined at One8 Commune, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. I was looking forward to a lovely evening, but it quickly turned into a disappointing ordeal.To start, the service was alarmingly slow. We waited over an hour for our food and drinks, which put a damper on the evening right from the beginning. When my mocktail finally arrived, I was shocked to find a deadly insect floating in it. This was not only unappetizing but also concerning. I brought this to the attention of the staff, hoping for a prompt resolution, but to my dismay, they seemed indifferent to the situation. There was no apology or offer to replace the drink, which left me feeling quite neglected as a customer.Adding insult to injury, I noticed that a service charge was included in the bill despite the poor service we received. It felt unjust to be charged for a level of service that was anything but satisfactory.Overall, my experience at One8 Commune was disappointing. The combination of slow service, lack of concern for customer issues, and being charged for inadequate service is not something I expected. I hope they can improve their standards in the future, as I would love to see this restaurant reach its potential. For now, I cannot recommend it based on my experience.
