Made a plan to visit ohri's tansen for Diwali 2020. Not a single phone number provided here on the official website was working. Thank god we did not travel from Kondapur till Tansen. I got an idea to call another ohri's outlet and enquire about tansen. Luckily after several tries, got through sahebs Barbeque. The person told ohri tansen is closed. And thankfully we were saved a very long journey and being hungry. Zomato, could you please update the status of this restaurant as closed to save people like us from traveling 1-1.5 hours to find out it is closed?

After having an amazing experience in Ohri's Ruchi and Idoni the last time, Desi Foodies decided to give it a shot for Ohri's Tansen for the next "Manthan" of the group.Like they all say, everyday is not a Sunday, that's what it turned out to be. Started with few drinksshakesmock tails and nothing that we could boast about.
Like all the Ohri's which serves north Indian food, even this was victim of serving bland food and by the time waiter could get food from kitchen, it would cool down. Reason being, kitchen being located far away and thanks to AC which was in full flow. Among all the tried food, chicken biryani was a clear winner among the non veggies. Service regards to serving the food was not a point to ponder upon as well. Considering we went there during non peak times, expectation was much higher.
Agreed its one of the best looking restaurant the city has got. Very Royal and Very Shahi. But good food could have been incing on the cake.All in all, our love for Ohri's brand has gone down by one notch. Hoping they spring back soon !!!
