Located in the marketplace, Mani's cafe is a chain of South Indian restaurant across the city serving traditional as well as fusion food. The place doesn't have seating but one has to dine at the standing tables which are neatly arranged while their staff comes in quickly to clean up the table after a person finshes off their food. The guy taking the order is polite and helpful as well. Coming to the food, I ordered benne dosa and set dosa while I was a little disappointed with benne dosa as it lacked the required crunch. Benne is something which once folded shouldn't unfold and that's the basic of getting it right... The set dosa was soft and buttery. Later, i went on with Thatte idli. The idli was covered with podi and ghee and this was actually the saving grace of the evening for me. I also ordered filter coffee which was okay as I didn't feel that roast of coffee beans which should be there and gives you a good kick! Their sambhar and chutneys are good though. Overall, a decent place to visit in Mulund in case you need to grab South Indian food. Service: Dine in Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Disappointed with Mani's Cafe Mulund. Ordered food worth ₹800–₹1000 and asked for a parcel, but was charged extra for parcel containers . When I requested extra chutney and sambar, the staff bluntly refused. For the price I’m paying, I expect better service and basic courtesy. Not coming back and very bad experience from the staff also I got the less quantity In my parcel. So not sure why they are charging more compared to other vendors. Not suggesting anyone to go there for such behaviour. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹800–1,000
