Chinese food is worth a try here. The positive aspect of this restaurant is that the staff is accommodating. If you want to experience nice service, you should visit New Keven's Restaurant. A number of visitors say that the atmosphere is lovely here. But this place is not highly estimated by Google users who provided it a below average rating.

MANU like man how could one mess up the menu writing so bad, the food is overpriced for what they serve, deserve to go bankrupt on god. i recommend, rather i warn people to not even bat an eye towards this atrocious restaurant. The price for a big guy portion, actual size for a baby, and food is bad please find a new business Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Chicken Thali - Rs.120/- New Keven 's Restaurant, Laitumkhrah Main Road, Shillong 18.01.24 Just like Grab A Bite, New Keven Restaurant is another eatery that I pass often but never end up entering to try their food. So today I made it a point to do so. The place has a huge display area upfront where some of the snacks & cooked dishes are displayed. Behind it is a small dining area where the tables have been arranged in such a way to optimize the number of seats, but to me it felt a bit cramped. A lady came up to me with the menu to take my order. I asked for a Fish Thali but it wasn't available. There was Chicken Pork, Mutton & Veg Thali. I opted for Chicken. 10mins later my order arrived. It had Rice, 2 pieces of chicken curry, dal, alu-gobhi-carrot fry sabji, squash sabji, pudina chutney & onion-lemon-chilli. The thali looked pretty decent. Much better than I had imagined. The rice was of decent quality. No complaints about the dal. The 2 pieces of Chicken were cooked very well & was infact pretty tasty. It was curry but didn't have too much of spices. The vegetables, both aloo-gobhi-carrot fry & squash curry were also nice but sadly cold. Would have been so much more better if they were warm. Especially on a cold day. Overall it was a decent thali. I was offered extra rice but I declined. So this looked like a refill thali. I would happily pay a few rupees more if they gave some fresh salad & papad. If you are looking for a wholesome simple meal without too much of spices, then this just may be what you are looking for.
