I had a wonderful dinner experience at The Hut in Shillong. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cozy and refined, making it ideal for both a relaxed evening and a long, enjoyable conversation over good food. I started with the shrimp tempura sushi, which was beautifully crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside, with a great balance of texture and freshness. The fried pork was cooked just right, golden and juicy, full of flavor without being overly greasy. To finish, the grilled prawns were excellent, perfectly seasoned and cooked to retain their natural succulence. The service was attentive and efficient, always present without being intrusive. There is clear attention to detail in both presentation and consistency of flavors. Definitely a place worth returning to in Shillong. A very pleasant culinary surprise. Visited here on Christmas eve. The ambience was good. The service was great, our server recommended us great dishes and even explained what the chutney was made of. The food was great as well.
