Once the promenade around the Panagal Park is over, visit Shyam's Bombay Halwa House. Carpe diem – Indian and Vegetarian cuisines wait for you. It's a pleasant experience to try good paneer, kulcha and pilaf. Come here for tasty falooda, kulfi and vanilla ice cream if you are hungry. This restaurant offers delicious lassi among its drinks.

As far as the main course is concerned, I'll recommend the tawa pulav.
This restaurant is always the first choice whenever I have to meet out of towners over dinner/lunch. And everyone that I've introduced this restaurant to have come out impressed, not just with the menu but because of the friendly staff.
The only downside is that it gets crowded on weekends with entire families landing up there, so be prepared for 15-30 minute wait.
