Went to New Aliah Hotel for their Special Mutton Biryani — turns out the “special” part was how miserably small the portion was. Two tiny mutton pieces (had to check twice if they were actually mutton) and rice that wouldn’t fill up two kids, let alone an adult. Don't go on that image, it was my photography skills that made look atleast in a respectable position. Clearly, the management believes customers should survive on nostalgia and the hotel’s old reputation rather than actual food. If this is what they call “special,” I dread to imagine the regular. Biryani lovers, consider this a cautionary tale — unless your idea of a feast is two scraps of mutton and a spoonful of rice.
