After enjoying Asiatic Society, it may be a good idea to visit this bar. Chinese and Mughlai cuisines are nice at Olypub. This place provides food delivery for the convenience of its clients. The recipe for success of this spot is its tasty chicken steaks, fried fish and beefsteak. A lot of people mark that you can try good flija here. A lot of visitors order delicious French beer, cordial or scotch. Most likely, you'll return to this bar later to taste great bread drink, ground coffee or pineapple juice.

The energetic staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Service at Olypub is something one can name enjoyable. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are adequate. You will definitely appreciate the charming atmosphere and lovely decor. Google users awarded the rating of 4.1 to this place.

Visited Olypub after a long long time and was really happy with the renovation and design upgrade! It's lovely to see the young college goers and old alike. The drinks are standard as usual, everyone that's been here knows what they want, no fancy fuf like other snooty bars.. The snacks and food were outstanding. I had a really good chateaubriand streak after ages! The fish fingers, pork sausages, chicken ala kiev , streak are some of the best. Happy tummy!

Been here for quick daytime drinks in the past as its on Park St and usually quiet. Brought my Dad today as he's never been and we wanted a change to Trinca's, Mocambo, Flury's which he remembers from the 60s and Zen at the Park Hotel which is my go-to whenever I'm visiting Kolkata and want some 'normal' i.e Non-spicy food. It was massively disappointing today - all but three brands of beer were unavailable and as we aren't accustomed to the 8% versions of Carlsberg and Budweiser - and as it was only lunchtime - we had to settle for soft drinks. Dad's Chicken Dopiyaza was made with old dry tough chicken - almost certainly oven-roasted a day or more previously and unpleasant. My Orly Fish (fish in batter) was tolerable but contained bones which was a nasty surprise. Service was haphazard and our waiters spoke neither English nor Bengali yet a tip was obviously expected. In future I may swing by for a drink but given the lack of beer I may well not. Certainly not the place to take your Dad for lunch - mine was very disappointed. Given the establishment has been here since 1947 our experience was a great surprise. Having lived in Britain all my life I'm certain standards must have been higher during the days of the Raj. Massively unimpressive and a real shame. Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Dine in,
We ordered beef steak - it had hair in it
Grilled fish - was stale and cold
Chilli prawns - the coating was separated from the prawns
