After looking at St. Cajetan's Church, have a meal at Neighbors Goa. The key aspect of this cafe is the French cuisine. Enjoy nicely cooked roasted chicken, egg sandwiches and eggs benedict at Neighbors Goa when you happen to be near it. A lot of people point out that waiters serve good pancakes, fruitcake and cheesecakes here. Some guests like delicious gin at this place. After a long working week, you can try great cold coffee, fresh juices or vietnamese coffee.

Live music is played by musicians in the evening. This spot is recommended for the creative staff. The professional service is something these restaurateurs care about. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are average. You will definitely appreciate the enjoyable atmosphere and homey decor. 4.4 is what this cafe got from the Google rating system.

We ordered a pork banh mi and a vegetarian banh mi.The pork one was extremely sweet, not at all like an authentic or even close to traditional banh mi. The sweetness was overpowering and as strong as barbecue sauce. It was also extremely acidic.Vegetarian banh mi was not a banh mi at all. It was just random vegetables - including feta cheese and tomatoes (??) in a baguette. Absolutely no marination or sauce of a banh mi. It also has a green chutney which definitely doesn’t belong on a banh mi.Fries were also soft and average at best. The baguette was decent, only real positive.I also ordered a negroni which was overly sweet.

I recommend this place highly for a laidback brunch or lunch in Goa. Omkar's service is so attentive, his suggestions are on point and the overall vibe of the place + the food are excellent. You can hardly go wrong with anything on the menu. Definitely try the peanut butter cold brew, the coconut cold coffee, the chicken banh mi, their amazing avocado toast. Definitely a must try. Visited Neighbors Goa (Assagao) on January 2, 2026, around 11 AM with a group of 8, including kids, hoping for a nice brunch. The restaurant was completely empty, but the staff refused to seat us, saying a large table was reserved for a 9 AM booking and the party hadn’t arrived yet. We waited, but even after two hours past the reservation time, no one showed up, and they still wouldn’t accommodate walk-ins. The person attending was rude and showed attitude when questioned, insisting they “do not and cannot take walk-ins” – all while the place sat empty! This is extremely unprofessional and poor customer service. Prioritizing no-show reservations over actual paying customers, especially families with kids, is unacceptable. We left disappointed and won’t be returning. Not recommended if you value flexibility and basic hospitality. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Brunch
