I had visited this restaurant with my family during my Mussoorie stay in 2024. The food and service was so amazing that we went back 2-3 times for lunch and dinner. It is not as fancy as some of the more renowned and Instagram famous outlets, but the hospitality and the food was way superior. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹400–600

One of the best & i am saying it again It is the best place to have punjabi north indian food in whole of mussorie . Be it their breakfast items ,lunch or dinner they just hit the spot bang on without hurting your pocket much. Owner sahab Sardar ji is very nice person . He always greets with smile & Sat Sri Akal . Must try items are Poori bhaji,Butter chicken,Mutton biryani,Pudhina parantha,Fish tikka,Kali mirchi chicken,dal makhni. I have tried all these items,i was in mussorie for 4 days and everyday my one meal either comes from here at my hotel or i go there to have it. Mussorie trip is incomplete without going to this amazing restaurant called NEELAM. Cheers to the whole team & Specially Sardar ji Waheguru ji sada kirpa karan meher rakhan . During our visit to Mussoorie, we had dinner at Neelam Restaurant, one of the city’s oldest and well-known restaurants, carrying its legacy since 1949. Visiting a place with such a long history and reputation across generations made the experience even more special. We visited with family for dinner and had a pleasant time enjoying both the food and the atmosphere. We ordered Chicken Curry, Veg Fried Rice, Mix Veg, Indian breads, and salad. The food was tasty, fresh, and satisfying, especially after a long day of exploring Mussoorie. The menu offers a good variety of Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes along with soft drinks and other refreshments. The restaurant itself is decent, comfortable, and filled with nostalgic Bollywood vibes. One interesting highlight was seeing pictures and glimpses of Bollywood celebrities who had visited the restaurant over the years. It adds a unique charm and makes you feel connected to the restaurant’s long-standing heritage. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and served everything properly without delay, which added to the positive dining experience. The overall ambiance feels traditional, warm, and family-friendly. If you are visiting Mussoorie and looking for a restaurant with history, good food, and a touch of old Bollywood charm, Neelam Restaurant is definitely worth visiting.
