The urge to have an authentic Malaysian street food experience in Chennai led me to Masi Kendar Pelita Restaurant however, I was quite disappointed. I ordered nasi ayam goreng, nasi lemak, teh ice and milo. The sambal sauce was too oily and achar-tasting, the nasi ayam had more bones than chicken but lacked salt. The quantity was good, which didn’t help given that I didn’t like the food. Milo was sweet enough to question your choice on the first sip. The teh ice was good though. Service was good. Ambience is lovely - that laid back, typical Malaysian small restaurant vibe. They also have outdoor seating. Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I just went to this restaurant 30minutes ago. Waiter - Not able to suggest what customer want, just want to make money for the restaurant. Not fit to be a waiter Food - Not to my liking Service - nood to go a long way to treat their customer. Person who served the food - not a single word of "Hello OR anything at all". Just threw the plates (which made noise whin it hit the table" very humiliating, still we were reluctant to leave the place. After all i gave a tip of INR50. It is my ...
