As a Malaysian, I found Nasi Kandar Pelita extremely disappointing and overpriced. The food here doesn’t come close to authentic Malaysian flavours not even 20%!! And those glowing reviews claiming it’s authentic or like being back in Malaysia????? Either you haven’t actually tasted real Malaysian food, or you’ve lost your sense of taste. What I had: 1. Mee Goreng: I specifically asked for it without spice, so I won’t call it bland but even so, it tasted like a generic street-style fried noodle dish. The chicken in it was tough and unpleasant. 2. Chicken Satay: Decent but overpriced. The peanut sauce was interesting, but still far from authentic. 3. Chicken Stuffed Paratha: Very generous in portion, but the stuffing was ordinary and the curry on the side tasted like a standard Indian restaurant curry, not Malaysian. 4. Iced Milo: Simple and satisfying no complaints. 6.Coconut Pudding: The highlight of the meal was the most delicious, tender coconut pudding I’ve had in a long time. At ₹190, this was the only thing worth the price. Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
