What a pathetic dosa, this dosa shop owner doesn't even have a basic knowledge on how a dosa is packed for delivery. He is wrapping it with aluminium foil whereas a Dosa is always packed in paperbags. It's bcoz a paperbag soaks all the water/humidity that comes out from the hot dosa so dosa remains crispy whereas this poor dosa owner is packing it in Aluminum foil and aluminium foil is not able to soak the humidity that comes after the evaporation of water coming out from the hot dosa so the dosa turns very soft, like a chapati. Secondly, he is cutting the dosa in two pieces before packing it just to keep it in a smaller size so what has left now with the meaning of 'Dosa'? A Masala Dosa is always assumed as a long whole roll or half circle of rice flour chapati stuffed with mashed potato mixed with spices, daal and other stuffing but he is cutting in only to adjust its size in his favourite aluminium foil, what ridiculous it is? What is wrong with this man, I'm not able to understand. When he cuts it in two pieces before packing it, it gives birth to another reason for evaporating vapour from inside too and due to which a crispy dosa outer turns into a soft, delicate and tasteless roti and nothing else. I directly informed him about it several days back but this irritated man does not want to hear recommendations or good advice from his valued customers so finally, I decided not to order a dosa ever from this particular dosa shop in future. It's very true that only a native knows how to cook his native dish, but when non-natives try to do it just to earn money out of it, he spoils everything and he is doing the same and giving a tasteless food as an end result. This place is awesome. This i say not just abour nanu South Indian foods but the whole region as a whole. Nanu uncle has been providing dosa since i was a kid and i have always loved his delicious sambhar with chutney. The place is good to have a south indian food/snack.
