Nalpak Hotel is an old establishment that hasn’t changed much over the years. It’s located in the city center, making it accessible from multiple directions. Parking is available both in front of the building and inside the premises. The space is generous, and they even have an aquarium that tends to attract children. The staff are polite and welcoming. As for the food, it’s okay. I’ve tried their breakfast and lunch options. The ghee masala was a bit too oily for my taste, and the shavige bath was served with raita, which felt like a strange pairing. If you’re looking for a safe bet, go for the idli and vade. We recently had lunch at Nalpak Restaurant, ordering the Meal (thali) and Bisi Bele Bath. Unfortunately, the quantity served for both the rice and bath was very disappointing. This was our second or third visit, and we noticed a consistent issue with portion sizes. When we raised our concerns with the server and manager, their responses were unsatisfactory.

Overall, the experience felt like poor value for money. The taste was average, and there seems to be a lack of understanding about proper food service, which is a basic expectation for any dining experience.
