At this restaurant, you will be served Chinese and Italian cuisines. Cooks at WelcomCafe Marina do their best to provide visitors with good broth, pork and spicy prawns. Ordering perfectly cooked cheese croissants, doughnuts and gulab jamun is a nice experience here. You will appreciate delicious beer at this place. It might be cool to enjoy great cold coffee, juice or fruit punch.
This spot is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices at this restaurant deserve attention since they're average. Most of the time, the calm ambiance is to be found here. As for the Google rating, WelcomCafe Marina received 4.5.

The pani puri and the welcome drink were refreshing, but the rest of the buffet was a major disappointment. The food was under-seasoned and the fish was undercooked. They also added whole orange and lemon peels into the meat dishes, which made the gravy incredibly bitter. In the Indian section, there wasn't a single chicken dish available, leaving red meat as the only option unless you went to the continental section. The service was a significant hospitality mishap for a brand like Welcom. The person tending to our table, Kieth, seemed visibly upset and disappointed that we didn't opt for alcohol. We asked for a bread basket that never arrived, the coffee wasn't fresh, and the dessert cakes were too dry to eat. Toward the end of the meal, the bill was shoved in our faces while we were still eating and speaking. It felt as if they didn't want us there at all, even though other guests were still enjoying their meals. While Mr. Keith was helpful, this is not what I expect for an ITC brand. The atmosphere was calm but certainly does not warrant a visit. For a cost of 2350 per person, I definitely would not visit again. Welcom Hotel by ITC is a luxurious antique hotel in the heart of Chennai,the hotel looks fabulous with marbles all over keeping with the ITC age old pride and heritage.WelcomCafe Marina housed inside this prestigious age old property looks good and best to be seated towards the garden and we went for the lunch buffet and spread of the buffet is not something that the restaurant needs to boast off , the main reason i have given a 4 is totally because of the taste, everything from unlimited mocktails,starters, main course,salads and desserts tasted amazing & Service by Ratan was impressive.And would look forward for a better choice of starters and live counter in the future.And I would definitely recommend this place for lunch!Buffet Included: • Mocktail Drink (Fruit Punch)
