Don't forget to taste perfectly cooked chilli broth, Dim sum and thai rice at Far East. Do not leave without tasting good coconut flans, brownies and ice cream. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Far East is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the warm, welcoming atmosphere sets the stage for what promises to be an exceptional meal. The ambiance is elegant yet cozy, offering the perfect balance between tradition and modernity.The menu is nothing short of spectacular, featuring a wide range of authentic dishes. Every bite in every single dish bursts with flavor, skillfully prepared using the freshest ingredients. The newest addion on the menu - Singapore creamy prawns & Pecking Duck are standouts. Let me also mention that the sourcing for certain ingredients used in these dishes are directly imported from Singapore and Thailand to maintain the authenticity. The dim sum selection is equally impressive, with a plethora of options to explore. Again, my all time favourite here in this section would be the Chicken and chilli oil dumplings. I can easily call this the best ever in town. Their bao section is also great. I had the Shelled crab bao and the bao buns were hands down the best ever I've had in my entire life. Super soft and spongy. Sad that the crowd I was with was not wanting to have soups. Couldn't get my hands on it this time like I always do though :( I also had the joy of trying Sushi here and it was fantastic. It was grilled prawn Sushi though. For mains we had Butter Garlic rice and for dessert, my ever favourite Red Ruby and MiloWhat truly sets this restaurant apart, is the consistency in taste that they provide, the efforts made by the owner Mr.Harris Farves brining in so much of his hard work and knowledge that turns into beautiful plates that fill not only our tummies, but also our hearts and souls. Also, I should give a huge props to their impeccable service. The staffs are always attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering recommendations tailored to your preferences. You feel genuinely cared for, and every detail is considered to ensure your dining experience is flawless.Whether you're a longtime lover of Asian cuisine or a newcomer eager to explore, this restaurant will exceed all your expectations. I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional, authentic, and memorable meal.Ps: I've always wanted to write a review, but somewhere deep inside me, I just had to wait. And now, after coming in here for almost 10 times and finding every single occasion to be the best ever experience in terms of hospitality and the taste they provide in food, I can proudly tell it from the bottom of my heart, that FAR EAST IS THE BEST ASIAN RESTAURANT IN CHENNAI. PERIOD.
