Cooks at this restaurant do their best to provide guests with tasty fish curry, beef and fried fish. Muthassikkoot (മുത്തശ്ശിക്കൂട്ട്) is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Come here for the calm atmosphere. Lives up to the hype! Secluded tropical open-air eatery run by the loveliest folks, who are pleased to serve you their delicious food. Asked for a veg meal and was served tasty idyappam with perfectly seasoned, tender kadala curry. Partner enjoyed local fish. Wonderful experience. Delicious Authentic Kerala food Budget friendly. This lovely kitchen in Alappuzha is a must visit if you are craving for some authentic Kerala cuisine. I stumbled across this place through some local recommendations and it is run by a very kind and lovely family who were very welcoming although most of the items in the menu were sold out before 8:30 pm. I tried fish fry with chapati and they were generous enough to provide me with some complimentary fish curry too and the food was superb. The family was very intrigued when they came to know that I was traveling from Himachal so I had a small chit chat with their daughter about snow clad mountains at our place which she translated in Malayalam to them. Also, someone has rightly described in reviews that their daughter is destined for some great things and hopefully someday she can visit Himalayas with the family too. I fall in love with the restaurant and the family!!! The restaurant has been build 5 months ago as the family wanted to share the tradional Kerala cuisine. The atmosphere is lovely, surrounded by bamboos. The entire team is having genuine smile that is contagious. The food is freshly home-made in a tradional cooking way. It's a hidden gem and I wish to the family a success that I am sure they ll get by their authenticity
