Visited with high expectations, but was disappointed by the food quality. We ordered idli, uthappam, sweet pongal, and ghee roast. Unfortunately, the idli was overly sour, the uthappam turned out hard, and the sweet pongal was excessively sweet, it tasted more like sugar than traditional jaggery. The only positive was the good service. Overall, the experience didn’t quite match the hype. Urgent: Complaint Regarding HEAVY PLASTIC PIECE in Food Dear Manager, Hotel Murugan Idli Shop, Aryagowda Rd,West Mambalam, Chennai, I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding an terrible experience I had during my recent at your hotel. On 20/03/2025, I was purchased the Variety rice (sambar & tamarid), at your Murugan Idli Shop, Aryagowda Road,West Mambalam, Chennai and Discovered a HEAVY PLASTIC PIECE in my food and shocked luckily not swollen. This post a significant safety concern to customers, and I immediately brought the issue to the attention of your staff directly store & over the phone to Manager. However, I have not received any proper response from the hotel Management regarding my complaint. As a customer, I expect both quality service and safety standards to be a priority.
