This restaurant at The Paul is on the top floor and in an enclosed space. I would describe the seating as semi-comfortable, but gives just about enough space to have private conversations. The menu offers several options and the drinks menu is interesting. The food was delicious and there can be no complaints, and so were the drinks. The service could've been quicker, I thought, but then if you are looking to spend time and are at leisure, the pace is fine. I certainly recommend this place for a nice evening to be spent with friends or family. Murphy's Brewhouse is a really nice-looking place and great for big get-togethers. That said, it felt like it was missing some energy, even though the service was attentive on a quiet Monday evening. As for the beer, it was what you'd expect from a microbrewery. The food, however, was a big letdown. The pizzas and fried pork were just about okay, but the fries came out completely unsalted and had to be returned. The real disaster was the fish and chips. The fish had no flavor whatsoever, and the batter around it was an absurdly thick, hard shell. And don't even get me started on the "tartar sauce," which was basically thin mayonnaise with some cilantro tossed in. It was a very hit-or-miss meal.
