I have been a regular customer of Moon Bakes for the past 3 years, but this experience was extremely disappointing. We placed an order for 10:30 AM, and the cake was delivered only at 2:00 PM. During this entire delay, there was no response to our calls or messages, and we were not even given an option to cancel the order. Since the cake did not arrive on time for our event, we had to purchase another cake elsewhere. As a result, the delivered cake was of no use to us. The next day, when I contacted the manager, she was not willing to accept responsibility for what had happened. I requested at least a 70% refund considering the delay and inconvenience. She said she would check with the store and get back to me, but there was no response for three days. After repeated follow-ups, I was informed that no refund would be provided. This lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable. If you are ordering a cake for any important or special occasion, I would strongly advise against choosing this place, as they do not deliver as promised and offer no resolution when issues arise. The ambience is good, but the overall experience was disappointing. The staff lack basic hospitality and don’t seem to know how to handle customers properly. The way the dishes were served was not presentable at all. With better staff training and service standards, this place could improve a lot. Anna nagar branch. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
