A very warm and homely tasty meal. We had guest over from Mumbai and Pune and decided on Mom's Recipes Pilar as choice of resturant to showcase Goan True Food. I must say I was not disappointed at all. The guests loved the Veg Goan Thali and Non Veg Thali of Chanak. We also ordered the Mackrel or Bangda Cutlets which were truly homely and typical Goan style made only in home kitchens. However one point I noticed is this time Usal and Kangachi Nevri were missing from the thali. May be you should add it as it would have created a complete Goan meal. We did enjoy Mangane though. Overall a very truly wholesome experience for my guests and everyone. . We truly appreciate the efforts and all servers, cooks and people who assisted us witj warm and a big hearted smile on their face. Thank you for this truly enriching and loving hospitality From a fellow Goenkar and true Goan Foodie. Thank you so much, Sanika!Regarding the nevryo and usal, we serve a different dessert in the thali almost every day.ookdiche modak, nevryo, patoleo, kheer, mangane and a few others.As for the usal, we alternate between usal and sukho bhaji.Thank you once again for the wonderful review.
