Having seen St Peter's Church, it's time to have a rest at this cafe. Come to Mokai Cafe for a break and degust nicely cooked grilled chicken, fried eggs and mushrooms. The cooks here prepare tasty bagels and good tiramisu. A selection of great matcha latte, matcha or smoothies is recommended to visitors.

We ordered the Crispy Chicken first. The chicken was crunchy and the sauce was awesome, like a little burst of thai goodness. For the mains, I got the Rendang Curry with jasmine rice, and it was so satisfying. The curry was deep and had lots of different things happening with the taste.

Their coffee menu is absolutely fantastic! We tried the Tiramisu Iced Latte which was rich, thick and heavenly. We also went for the Matcha Misu, a matcha latte topped with mascarpone cheese. Before serving the matcha latte, they let you whisk your matcha right at the table. so fun! For food, we ordered the Eggs Shakshuka, Rednong Curry and Chicken Chilli Garlic Noodles. Highly recommend the Shakshuka, super flavourful. The chicken in the curry tasted slightly stale, but the staff at Mokai are incredibly sweet and attentive. They even surprised us with a complimentary gluten-free sugar-free (super yum) cookie after we shared our feedback. Coffee fanatics - do visit this spot!
